Game Summary Forms data to be sent to CIF Central Section (instead of filling out 2nd form)

Team - CIF Central Section has adopted out Game Summary form data and we will automatically send them game information and incident-misconduct data. This is saving you from a 2nd form to fill out (Yay!).

To do this, I have adapted our Game Summary Form with all of the CIF data required for their reports. Here's an outline of what I sent to CIF Central section on our plan to provide data in lieu of their forms.

Events-Incidents-Misconduct Data to Capture for CIF

First export of events will be sent this week to CIF Central section.

CIF Central Section requires documentation of certain events (misconduct, technical violations, spectator/coach incidents, playoff ball violations, etc…).  They request data within 24hrs of match completion with sufficient details of the event, especially misconduct.

This is important because there is discipline applied for violations:

  • Players accruing 5 YC during regular season, or 3 YC during playoff season - 1 game suspensio
  • Coaches accruing 3 YC at any time - 1 game suspension
  • Fighting/violent conduct - 3-6 game suspension 
We have adapted LPSRA Game Reports to capture all event data for CIF.  Each event is captured and categorized by incident type and referee action.
