Tips to help submit game reports

 Our goal is to help make game reporting as easy as possible, and we have evolved significantly over the last few months.  Definitely not perfect.  Yes, there are still some glitches, but we're moving forward.

The Games Reporting platform (link to web application) works well on internet browsers, and okay on phones.  Will be working on the next major update to improve use of phone to enter data.  I will be creating a "bugs" page and adding to blog links.

We're up to a 95% rate of success getting you connected  with email account, accessing application, and loading/saving game reports.  Again, reach out if you're having problems and I'll try to work with you.

Blow are quick tips to help you submit your game reports

1. You must create an account to use the application.

* For new users, use the Sign In page on the application:  Enter email, password, and confirm password.
* Press Sign Up
* A follow-up email will be sent from lpsra@lpsra-game-summary-forms.firebase.app with a link to confirm verification of your email address.
* Click on the link provided ... a message will open on an internet browser and say "Email Verified"

2. Creating a new game report

* Once you get into the application, your screen will show LPSRA Game Reports and all the game reports you have entered.
* To enter a new game report, click ADD GAME REPORT (Blue) button.
* A search page will be shown with all games loaded from ArbiterSports.  
    * Find the game by date, time and teams.
    * On tournaments, there will be TBA for each team, you will then need to search by date, time.
    * If there a multiple games at same date/time/venue, you can load the first game (and if not correct), click on add game report again and continue through each event until you find it.
    * If the above two don't work, find the game number from the ArbiterSports web page or application, then continue through add game report search page.  If you can't find game number, send me a quick email and I will check (and load if its a new game) ... or ...
* Add manual game report
    * select any game through the add game report search
    * replace the following fields;
        * Game ##: Enter same game number in ArbirterSports
        * Date of game: in form of YYYYMMDD (ex 11/15/23 game would be 20231115)
        * time of game: 5pm or 1700
        * Gender/Age: 
            * for high school: GV, GJV, GFS, BV, BJV, BFS
            * USSF league: G2006-G2016 or B2006-B2016
            * for AYSO: GU8-GU19 or BU8-BU19
        * League
            * for high school - CIF
            * for USSF: CSL, WL, OUSL SBSAS
            * for AYSO; AYSO
        * Match type: select (P); friendly, league, tournament
        * add Teams, Colors, Score
        * Add REF, AR1, AR2
* Continue on to add behavior assessment and match notes, incidents-misconduct
