CIF Purple Card Process for CCAA

Thanks to all for using game summary forms for documenting matches. We're up to a 90% success rate on data entry!  Still working the bugs out for a few of you ... Gary, Glenn, Kevin, etc... New Cheat-Sheet card with Paul’s Pre-Game and Miller’s Purple Card policy * Simplified presentation Paul Klock's from two weeks ago into a short&sweet version.  Includes purple card policy summary for you to help implement.  I have also sent same link to ADs/Coaches so they might be asking you for clarification… suggest you print it out.  Purple Card policy in full force starting 11/20. As a reminder, Check-in with game administrator 30min+ before game Have they rolled out PC to their teams and spectators. if not, now is the time to have the discussion Have they had a discussion with each head coach on a communication plan when referee identifies behavior we need to take action on (Head coach or team officials will then call game administrator to manage for them) Will they be reading the PSA on purple cards after CIF sportsmanship requirements? If they need the script, let me know and I'll send to them. When Spectator Behavior needs to be acted-upon; use your notifications to the coach to start the process purple cards only come out if we have asked them for help and nothing is changing Document the data incident data (time, offender, ...) game administrator will get name for you

Team - CIF Central Section has adopted out Game Summary form data and we will automatically send them game information and incident-misconduct data. This is saving you from a 2nd form to fill out (Yay!). To do this, I have adapted our Game Summary Form with all of the CIF data required for their reports. Here's an outline of what I sent to CIF Central section on our plan to provide data in lieu of their forms. Events-Incidents-Misconduct Data to Capture for CIF First export of events will be sent this week to CIF Central section. CIF Central Section requires documentation of certain events (misconduct, technical violations, spectator/coach incidents, playoff ball violations, etc…).  They request data within 24hrs of match completion with sufficient details of the event, especially misconduct. This is important because there is discipline applied for violations: Players accruing 5 YC during regular season, or 3 YC during playoff season - 1 game suspensio Coaches accruing 3 YC at ...

New Metrics Dashboard created to help us manage turning in game reports.  With a new system, it is important that we are capturing data from each game.  We have asked data to be loaded with a target of 24hrs from game time.  This is especially important (as noted above) because we are exporting data to CIF Central Section. Link to report :  Data uploaded twice a week to our datatables which is then processed into reports. If you find that you've submitted a report and it's not reflected on the graph, send me a email and I'll look into it for you.  Include referee, game date and game #.
